Getting to Namibia

Namibia’s National Carrier, Air Namibia, as well as Condor & Euro wings have regular direct flights from Frankfurt to Windhoek International Airport. There are daily connecting flights from Johannesburg International / Cape Town International to Windhoek International. Qatar has daily connecting flights from Doha to Windhoek International.

Namibian law requires that your passport be valid for a period of at least 6 months from the date of your arrival in Namibia. Visit the Namibian embassy webpage relevant to your country to enquire full details about visa requirements.

Currently no special health requirements are prescribed for entry into Namibia.

We suggest that you refer to your personal physician for advice on prophylactics and insect repellents. Please ensure to bring with any special medication required for the duration of you stay. Also ensure medical and travel insurance is in order for your trip.

Medical facilities, including excellent private hospitals and internationally trained medical practitioners, specialists and surgeons, are available in Windhoek.

Trophy and taxidermy

The skinning team will attend to the field preparation (skinning, capeing, cleaning, salting and drying) of your trophies. Clients’ trophies will be delivered to the shipping agent or Taxidermist of their choice in Namibia.

The cost of taxidermy work in Namibia is affordable, the quality of the workmanship is excellent. The current completion time for mounts in Namibia is about 12 months.
